Semi-Permanent Couplings

Semi-permanent couplings create the electrical connection between rail cars which are not automatically coupled. The actuation is purely manual; even so, the coupling process can be done faster and easier than coupling cars with jumper cables.

The possibilities for transmitting signals, power, and data are the same as with the other era-contact couplings.
