era-contact has assembled cable harnesses and wiring looms since 1972. As early as 1982, manufacturing and assembly were started in Bizerte (Tunisia). Since 2003, we have also produced in Shouzou (China).

At all locations, cable sets for all market segments are produced. Our core competencies lie in smaller and medium-sized series of complex wiring systems, in part with integrated electronics for engine, transmission, and interior wiring for rough and difficult environmental conditions.

The assembly and production equipment and testing systems are state-of-the-art. Our development team is pleased to support you from initial ideas and concepts through all steps to batch production, above all with a view to the optimal installation taking EMC and environmental conditions into account. Our team can also create technical drawings on state-of-the-art CAD/CAE systems as requested. The production site in Bretten, Germany, through prototyping, allows for a rapid and flexible reaction to customer requirements and requests for changes, and complete customer service from our project management teams. 

All production sites are certified in accordance with ISO TS 16949. The enhancement of our quality standards to include IRIS (International Rail Industry Standard) is one of our management goals at this time.
