Terminating Connectors

There are various possibilities of terminating cables. With coaxial contact systems, the cables are terminated so that the cables are properly shielded and cables cannot simply be pulled out of the terminating connector. For mobile/fixed contact systems, push/push contacts systems, and male/female (pin/socket) contact systems, we offer the following three termination types.

The termination type of the cable can be:

  • Threaded (screw), for a direct connection with the cable terminal end.
  • Crimped, to crimp with various diameters of cable.
  • Push-in, for 6.3  flat push-on contacts (single and doubled).

The terminators are, like the contacts (pins) themselves, silver-plated or gold-plated, to ensure an optimum transmission quality.

Please note that depending on the terminators, the distance between the contacts (pins) may vary.
